night of celebrations

I had the pleasure of accompanying my good friend to her graduation dinner from the University of Southern California, from the School of Social Work at the Cicada Restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. The restaurant's 1920s art deco and contemporary elements were appropriate for the moment. The night started with a walk down the red carpet and ended with sore feet. I feel blessed to have joined my friend in her celebration. Congratulations Gloria. Good Luck.

 I haven't done much shopping at all this year and when I have, I've been trying on pieces that I would think twice about. It's allowed me to see new looks on my every changing body. Through it all, I'm keeping true to my style. I'm really inspired this month by my health, happiness, and the changes that are coming in my life.

 I don't know when my love for these shoes began, but I've been on the hunt for the perfect sandal heel. I'm not one to show my feet, so it has surprised me that these shoes have been catching my eye this season. I'm not used to walking in this style of heel since I don't own a pair, but buying a pair will force me to learn. I'm not so sure which to choose. Here are a few I've been eyeballing lately. Help?

   Maybe it's my short hair, but lately I've been loving all things sexy and bombshell inspired. It started when I cut 16 inches of my hair in late January, but I didn't think I was going to be obsessing over the image of sultriness months later.
